About Fashiondle
The daily fashion word game
Fashiondle is a free daily word game for people who love fashion: guess the hidden fashion house in six tries, with clues from its history unlocking as you go.
Why Fashiondle exists
Daily word games became a ritual for millions of people: one puzzle a day, the same for everyone, and a coloured grid to share. Fashiondle brings that ritual to fashion. Instead of a random five-letter word, the answer is always a real fashion house, from names everyone knows to labels that only the most dedicated followers of fashion week will recognise.
The aim is to be fun for a casual fan on a Monday and properly challenging for an archive collector on a Sunday, and to leave you knowing a little more about fashion history every time you play.
Hand-picked, not generated
The Daily answer always comes from a curated list of 159 fashion houses. Each one has a written profile: its category, city, founding year, founder, signature piece and a short "Did you know?" fact. The houses cover luxury and couture, heritage brands, Japanese design, avant-garde labels, streetwear and sportswear, spread across a weekly calendar of three difficulty levels: Iconic, Insider and Archive.
Behind the answers, Fashiondle recognises 771 brand names and nicknames as valid guesses, so every guess is a real piece of fashion knowledge rather than a random string of letters.
You can browse every past answer, with its full profile, in the archive, and learn the rules in the guide.
How it's made
Fashiondle is designed and built by an independent developer. It is a fast, lightweight web game that works on phones, tablets and computers, with a light paper theme and a dark noir theme. It is also available as a Discord Activity, where friends can compare results in their server.
It respects your privacy: there are no accounts and no tracking, and your game progress and statistics are stored only on your own device. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
Independent and unaffiliated
Fashiondle is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any fashion house or brand. Brand names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the houses in a trivia context. Clues and facts are written for the game. If you spot a mistake, we would love to correct it.
